Q1 2024

Below is a description of all the enhancements Genius Sports have made to existing SportsTech products so far in 2024.

1. Multi-Sport Competition Management System (MSCM) and FIFA Competition Management System (FCMS) 

Description: We made two key updates to our Multi-Sport Competition Management System (MSCM) and Football Competition Management System (FCMS) in February: 

  1. MSCM and FCMS customers can now manually remove Competitors from Draft Matches within the platform. This means customers no longer need to raise a request for Genius Sports to remove competitors.  

  2. We have enabled the ability to store historical jersey and position numbers, ensuring any future changes to player numbers do not override historical data. This guarantees 100% accuracy of historical jersey and position number data for MSCM customers. 

User interface changes: It’s now possible to delete a Competitor from Draft matches. Also, jersey numbers are available in the relevant places within the MSCM and FCMS systems. 

2. CFL play-by-play and statistics feed 

Description: We have enhanced the accuracy of 200+ CFL play-by-play and statistics feeds by introducing more actions and granularity. 

User Interface changes: We have removed inactive players from GameBook, our post-match reporting tool for CFL data customers.  

3. ScoreLinkII Firmware Updates 

Description: We have enhanced ScoreLinkII firmware to resolve previous bot connectivity issues and guarantee optimal performance. 

User interface changes: Customers can access a link to download the update installer via the ScoreConnectIII user interface.  

4. ScoreConnectIII Port Customization Enhancement 

Description: We have made a significant enhancement to ScoreConnectIII — now offering increased flexibility in port configuration. Where port 5000 is unavailable, ScoreConnectIII can seamlessly run on alternative ports. 

Improved functionality: With this update, users have greater customization options to ensure ScoreConnectIII meets their unique requirements.
