What does Prematch Manager as a service provide?
Prematch Manager provides pre-match or pre-KO trading of many sports from up to 28 days before the start of an event up to its scheduled start time. During an integration, customer will set up competitions and markets, that in turn will then start to create content on the customer's trading platform via the updategrams that are delivered through the V3 IS. Once a market has been created, Betgenius will keep its prices and state up to date and the customer will then remove the market from being available at the kick-off of the event. Once the event has concluded and resulting data has been made available, customer will receive the relevant updategram that contains the resulting information.

PreMatch Manager allows users to create outright markets in some sports, for example Golf, Cycling and Motor Sports. These markets will be created, updated and resulted in the same way that an event's markets are created, updated and resulted but outright markets will not be actively managed with respect to in-play events.
For example, the Golf Winner market will be suspended when pricing is no longer available (because bookmakers on the user's list have stopped offering the market) but the market will not be closed simply because an event is in-play. Pricing will resume, and the market will be reopened, when prices are again available at the end of the round so that the market can be offered in the inter-round period. This functionality is entirely dependent on the availability of price data from bookmakers and the type of Sport. For Golf, the Outright market is suspended at the start of play whilst for Cycling and Motor Sports it is not.
You may wish to consider implementing the following functionality, depending on your regulatory or trading requirements:
- Close an outright market when the first event of a competition begins,
- Suspend trading on an outright market while one or more events within the competition are in-play,
- Delay re-opening an outright market to allow time for a manual sanity check of the prices.
