Roles
There are two different user roles in Live Viewer.
Admin, who can:
- See All Fixtures Page, where all fixtures, for which the client is licensed are listed
- Book and unbook fixtures
- See everything else, which the trader-user can see.
Regular, who can
- See only the fixtures, which an admin-user has booked (in Scheduled Fixtures tab)
- See My Fixtures tab, which contains the list of fixtures that the user want to be displayed on the Live Page
Booking Mode
To be able to book fixtures the admin-user needs activate 'booking mode' first, which is done by clicking on the toggle in the top right corner of the All Fixtures tab of the Schedule Page.
In order to prevent accidental clicking, the admin-user is warned that booking a fixture will lead to billing, so he can be careful when selecting fixtures.
When booking mode is on, a 'book' button is activated for every fixture.
Booked fixtures appear in the Scheduled Fixtures tab of admin-users and trader-users as well. From there they can select, which fixtures they want to assign to themselves, so they will appear on their Live Page.
Schedule
This is where you select the booked fixtures for viewing.
For each fixture, you will see the following information:
- Sport - the sport of the fixture
- Start (local time of user) - the start time of the match, in your time zone (based on your device's current time).
- Competition - the league or tournament to which this match belongs.
- Fixture - the teams or competitors in this match.
- FixtureId - unique id per fixture per sport
- Coverage - indicates whether the event is covered from the Venue or TV
- Lineups - indicates whether the event has lineup information or not
- Assigned - check this box to add this fixture to your Live tab.
The All Fixtures tab displays all available fixtures in your selected date range. The Scheduled Fixtures tab displays only fixtures that you have selected.
By default, the Schedule displays fixtures with start times from -3 hours to +12 hours from the current time. Use the Filter button to expand your selection of fixtures, and to filter by coverage type and lineups availability
Not all fixtures from the selected Date Range are loaded at once. The user can see the first batch of fixtures and scrolling down will automatically load more fixtures.
Live
This page displays a widget for each fixture that was selected in the Schedule.
By default, the fixtures are arranged in the order that they were selected. Hold/click and drag the widget to rearrange fixtures.
The background widget colors on this page mean can be enabled or disabled. When enabled colours represent the different danger and status states of the fixture
- White - the match has not started yet, has ended or is in half-time.
- Green - the match is in progress, but booking state is SAFE.
- Amber- an attack is in progress.
- Red - Danger State: an event that can affect the fixture's markets.
If the widget itself is greyed out, then there is no feed from this match into the Genius Sports system. This is usually true for a match that will begin far into the future (so our statisticians have not connected yet), or the match has ended a long time ago.

Stacked Notifications
The notifications are stacked in the Notifications Component with the most recent one on the top. User can acknowledge a notification by clicking anywhere on the notification. After acknowledging any notifications it disappears from the component . You can acknowledge all by clicking the 'Acknowledge all' button on the top right corner.
The number of unacknowledged notifications is shown next to the button and this number is proportionally decreasing if notifications are acknowledged one by one. Another option for acknowledging notifications is by pressing the icon in the match summary header. This will automatically accept all notifications for this particular fixture.
User can find notifications history in the Notifications tab next to the Feed tab in the match events component of the fixture widget. When triggered, notifications appear both in Notifications Component and in Notifications sections in the widget. The number of unacknowledged notifications is shown on the bell icon in the top right corner of the Summary component. Clicking on the bell takes the user to the notifications history in the Match Events component and acknowledges all notifications. Notifications history contains all the notifications received for the specific fixture. Most recent notifications are on top and unacknowledged Notifications are highlighted.
When notifications are acknowledged either from the the Notifications Component or bell icon, they are no longer highlighted. If the match event component is not shown, clicking on the bell opens it. When user navigates to a different page the notifications keeps stacking. When 100 or more notifications are unacknowledged the number above the bell icon is shown as

Until you have acknowledged an event, you cannot close the popup and interact with the Live Viewer. If more events occur, they are stacked and will appear as popups in sequence. You need to acknowledge all events individually.
Settings
In this section, you can change how the Live Viewer is configured for you.
Event Settings
Under this tab, you can select which event types are displayed in the Match Events widget, Mixed Match Events Sidebar and what Stacked Notifications are displayed. This way, you don't need to make a selection for each widget individually.
The user has the option to assign colors for any Match event. Once chosen, these colors are then displayed on the Live Page in the Match Events widget, Mixed Match Events Sidebar, Stacked Notifications and Pop ups.
The user has the option to choose if a Sound will be played on Live Page when an event comes. When an event type is assigned to a sound then this sound is played on the Live page once the event type occurs in a fixture on a Live page. The sound is triggered by any event chosen by the User. When user selects a sound from the drop-down a 'play' icon appears next to the selection box so the user can preview the sound.
Selections from a Match Event widget/sidebar's own filter will override settings from Event Settings
The sounds are played in sequenced order based on the timestamp. It is not possible to have two or more sounds played at the same time.
Check the boxes that you want, and click Save at the bottom of the page.
Layout Settings
Under this tab, you can select different components that will appear for each fixture widget. You can select any component you want to always be Turned ON on live page.
Next to Match Events Component you can activate Timestamp for Match Events. The time will be shown next to each Match Event on Live Page widgets and will be based on your region.
User can turn on notifications and then choose between Popup and Stacked Notifications. Turning on notifications selects Stacked Notifications as default. When notifications are turned on in Layout Settings, the column name in Event Settings is changed by default to Stacked Notification and becomes active. User can decide for which actions wants to receive Notifications. When Notifications are turned off in Layout Settings, the Notifications column in Event Settings is grayed out. The Popup notifications settings are using the same behavior.
Note: Selections from a widget/sidebar's own filter will override these settings.
Check the boxes that you want, and click Save at the bottom of the page.
